THREE teenage members of Braintree Golf Club’s Thornton Cup squad stole the show in the Sunday Stableford at Stisted.
James Hedger won the event with 43 points off a handicap of two, beating Jack Jordan (3) by five points with Adam Crane (2) third on 37.
The Saturday Stableford was won by new member Kristian Fulljames with 39 points off a 24 handicap.
He finished three points clear of Graeme Brown (16), who was third on countback from Anthony Little (4), both with 36 points.
The Vets Cup - for players aged over 55 - was won by Paul Vale, who returned 38 points off 15 handicap.
Second was Terry Fisher (7) with 37 while Paul Willis (10) edged out Gary Jones (9), both with 36 points for third.
