THE Seniors from Notleys Golf Club made the journey to play their annual match against Seckford Golf Club, near Woodbridge.
The match was very close and resulted in a hard-fought draw, with the highlight being the Notleys' Bill Chapman playing the game of his life and virtually winning his tie single-handedly.
The Notleys then entertained their counterparts from the Essex and another close match resulted in the Essex registering a 5-3 victory.
