ONLEY Arms took their place in the final of the Essex Invitation Petanque League KO Plate with a semi-final win against Three Elms A.
Steve Tooley, Graham Hills and Neil Morgan had a comfortable 13-4 triples win for Onley and the pairs went the same way, with Ian Humm and Hills winning 13-4, leaving the Elms' singles success as only a consolation.
In a quarter-final tie, Blackwater U3A beat their Billericay U3A A counterparts 2-1 to set up a semi-final tie between the winner of Bocking Boules and Bocking Spinners.
Little Totham missed out on a place in the KO Cup final by the narrowest of margins as Three Elms won their semi-final on the last end of the match.
In the other semi-final, Thorley booked a final spot with a 3-0 win against Billericay B.
