BOCKING'S Marianne Tucker and Swiss Bell's Ann Farmer will contest the Braintree Open Darts League's ladies' Knockout Singles final.

Having battled their way into the last four, Tucker faced Swiss Bell's Jackie Brighton in the first semi-final and with Tucker hitting her doubles when needed, she had her final place booked.

The second semi-final was an all-Swiss Bell affair with Jade Goodsell against Farmer, who proved the more consistent to claim the other final spot.

In the first men's semi-final, Cressing's Tony Bamsey and Wethersfield's Kevin Williams-Taylor walked up to the oche.

Bamsey opened up a 2-0 lead and he looked to be in command, however, Williams-Taylor came back to win the next three legs to book his place in the final.

The second semi-final had Cressing's Shane Smith up against the Retreat's Simon Twin and in a close encounter that went to the final leg, it was Twin who played his way into the final with an 89 out shot.
