GREAT Totham's decision to field first proved a good decision as they beat Aythorpe Roding by nine wickets in T Rippon Mid-Essex League division one.
Having been put in, Aythorpe were shot out for 82 in 17.5 overs, with only three batsmen reaching double figures.
Great Totham reached their target in 11.1 overs to end a short game on 86 for one.
Sam Gravatt claimed the only wicket to fall.
Aythorpe Roding host Stock on Saturday (1pm start).
