BRAINTREE Bullets BMX Club continued their East Anglian Regional Series campaign by fielding 50 riders at round four at Peterborough.

The six and under class was dominated by Bullets riders as Olly Cates and Heath Thomas went into the final as favourites. The pair went bar to bar for the whole race but it was Cates who claimed the victory.

Freia Challis and Joseph Long also claimed places on the podium.

Challis was giving the boys a run for their money in the eights where she finished second and Long had a great finish to the day to also take second place on the line.

In the mixed 11 to 12s, Cameron Parrish rode a strong lap in the final to take third following a great win in the nine to 12 cruiser class ahead of club-mates Joseph Harris and Amelia Parrish.

Seb Pantlin mixed it up as usual in the 14-year-olds and was as stylish as ever in second place, while his club-mate Sydney Allen fought through the pack after a bad start to take fourth.

Matthew Goodwins continued his domination of the 16s with consistent finishes throughout the day, while Christian White also dominated the 17 to 24 class as he went unbeaten all day in his heats, semi-finals and then the final.

The Superclass closed the day's racing and the Bullets were ahead of the rest again.

Josh Butson led from the gate with Taylor Andrews just behind.

The pair duked it out at the front of the race with Andrews making his move on the second straight to take the win.

The Bullets club race series continues on Wednesdays through the summer.
