JESSE Trayler had a tough time as he crashed out of the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship round when it linked up with the World Superbike Championship at Donington Park.

Having had a difficult free practice session that saw him struggle to down the order, the racer from Great Dunmow had done well to qualify his Northern Escalators Installations team Kawasaki ZX-10R 14th on the grid for the race.

As the lights went green he made a good start and made a couple of places up by the end of the first lap.

Trayler continued pushing but his race ended on lap three of the 16.

When entering the Fogarty Esses, Trayler's front end slid away from him and he was left stranded in the middle of the track ducking and weaving as the rest of the field went past.

It meant it was a weekend without points, but he will hope for better fortune when he returns to action at the end of June at Knockhill in Scotland.
