Braintree's Jessica Baxter and Jessica Norfolk won their opening Halstead Summer League under-18s match against Marconi.
BRAINTREE Tennis Club's girls' under-18s team started their Summer Halstead League matches with a well-deserved win against a very determined Marconi girls' side.
After playing their singles matches, Braintree's Jessica Baxter and Jessica Norfolk were even on sets with Marconi.
This made for an exciting doubles match, with Braintree winning 4-1, 4-1 to hand them the overall victory.
