Braintree Rugby Club will return to Essex League division one action today with a trip to Millwall kicking-off the second part of the Black and Ambers’ campaign.
The league has now split at the halfway stage, with Braintree sitting as leaders and the top half of teams will now be playing each other to see who goes up at the end of the season.
The fixture planners have handed Braintree three away games to start the second-half, with the trip to Millwall followed by games at East London and Bancroft.
It means they don’t have a home game at Robbs Wood until March 19, when Ilford Wanderers – the only side to have beaten the Black and Ambers this year – will be the visitors.
They then conclude with home fixtures against Maldon on April 2 and Canvey Island on April 16.
