Onley strengthen position at the top
A busy spell in the Essex Invitation Petanque League saw the Onley Arms take five points out of six to keep their lead at the top of the table.
A 2-1 win at Blackwater U3A was followed by a 3-0 win over Thorley.
Bocking lost their first four games of the season but six wins on the bounce have taken them into second spot.
They followed a 2-1 win at Thorley with a 2-1 win over Blackwater U3A that included a 13-0 pairs win for David Adams and Malcolm Smith.
Three Elms B lost 2-1 to their A team, but bounced back with a 2-1 win at Billericay U3A.
