Witham Town's Robert Dyas League Cup game against AFC Sudbury has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The call-off came late after the club had tried to give the Village Glass Stadium pitch every chance to be prepared ready for the planned 7.45pm kick-off.
However, a late inspection showed one goalmouth to be frozen and with little chance of temperatures rising during the evening, the decision was taken to call the game off.
It means Witham's next game will now come at Billericay Town in the Ryman League premier division on Saturday
