In the Ryman premier division, Witham Town secured a 3-2 win against visiting Hampton and Richmond Borough.

The home side dominated the early periods of play but it was Hampton that opened the scoring on 25 minutes when Tom Collins fired home.

But the visitors were then reduced to ten men when Saheed Sankoh was given a straight red card for handling the ball on the line during a goalmouth scramble.

Jamie Guy the fired home from the penalty spot on 31 minutes.

Witham took the lead on 64 minutes when Guy scored from Ellis Brown’s cross.

Kurt Smith put Witham further in front with an overhead kick in the 73rd minute.

Charlie Moone pulled a goal back for Hampton but Witham held on for the win.
