Braintree Town's run of Vanarama Conference Premier victories was brought to an end by a 2-1 defeat at Welling United.
The Iron had won their previous three games 2-0, including Saturday's home victory against Bristol Rovers, but they let a one-goal lead slip away in Kent.
Braintree took the lead with a goal in the 14th minute when Jordan Cox lobbed home keeper Turner and they held on to that at the break.
However, Welling were level within two minutes of the restart when Chris Bush fired in from a free-kick on the edge of the Iron box.
That goal was the first that Braintree had conceded in more than 345 minutes of Conference football and there was another to follow when the hosts got the winner in the 78th minute.
It was Harry Beautyman who found the target this time.
The Iron pressed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages and substitute Steve Smith rattled the home crossbar, but there was no way back and their good run came to an end
