Alex Lynn is determined to make a GP3 home delivery at Silverstone this weekend.
The 20-year-old racing driver from Dunmow is looking to complete a hat-trick of victories at the third round of this year’s GP3 Series after winning the feature races at the opening rounds in Spain and Austria.
Those wins have given Lynn a dominant lead at the top of the championship standings and with the third round taking place at Silverstone on the same weekend as the British Grand Prix, he is keen to secure another success on home soil.
He told the Times: “I honestly can’t wait for Silverstone.
“I’ve always loved it and always got on well there.
“At the start of the year I set myself a goal to win the British Grand Prix support race. No matter what, I want to win that British Grand Prix support race.”
