Halstead's swimmers travelled to Lowestoft for the first gala in the Summer League.
For many of the younger swimmers, it was their first gala.
They all put in a splendid performance, with the best swim of the night going to 11-year-old Chelsie Root.
She broke a club record in the 50 metres breaststroke that had stood for many years, after clocking a time of 39.68 seconds.
Halstead finished the gala in fourth place.
Their swimmers were: Alanah Keeble, Emily Dowding, Edward Clark, Theo Park Chelsie Root, Kyle Jay, Anna Hinsley, Alex Juniper, Lauren Broadbent, Orianna Frost, Lewis Archer, Jack Lewis, Ellie Johnson, Tim Cox, Richard Came, Ellie Pike, Sam Johnson, Samantha Ragus, Nathan Young, Rebecca Lowe, Michael Wood, Alice Park, Edward Green, Georgia Pike, Kai Adams, Lawrence Clapp.
