Halstead and District Motor Cycle Club started their MX season with the first round of the Eastern Centre Solo MX Championships on Sunday.
The meeting, which takes place at Little Loveney Hall, in Wakes Colne, includes a host of 120 Eastern Centre Junior riders, in addition to 37 top-class experts.
Thirty-six Halstead Club junior riders will take part in the championships, with ten club experts within expert entries.
Practice takes place at 10am, with the first race scheduled for 11.30am, with the Junior Championship qualifying heats.
Due to meetings finishing later than anticipated, fewer races will be held to ensure that the meeting does not over-run.
Admission is £7 for adults, with concessions for senior citizens and children.
