FC Clacton are holding a players’ meeting tonight, to get the ball rolling in terms of their plans for next season.
The club play their final Ridgeons League premier division fixture of the campaign on Saturday, when Diss Town head to the Rush Green Bowl (kick-off 3pm).
Changes are afoot, though, with striker and assistant boss Sean Hillier retiring, Dan Smith unavailable because of work commitments and defender Lee Peacock taking up a scholarship in America.
Taylor hopes to add “one or two” new faces during the close-season – with a target man top of his wanted list – but hopes to have a firm idea of how his existing squad will shape up after tonight’s gathering.
“I’d like to have things in place before we go our separate ways,” he said.
