CHELMSFORD City remain in with a shout of securing a home play-off semi-final after defeating Bognor Regis Town in their penultimate game of the regulation season.
The Clarets beat already relegated Bognor 1-0 on their travels to leave Rod Stringer’s men level on points with Hampton & Richmond Borough but one behind their promotion rivals in terms of goal difference.
Chris Dickson got the decisive goal after just four minutes of the match, profiting from some hesitant defending to hammer into the net.
And it was a game of few chances after that as the Clarets look ahead to a final day clash at Eastbourne Borough.
