GARY Lunn enjoyed the warm conditions as he took victory in the first round of the seniors' eclectic Memorial Plate at the Essex Golf and Country Club.
On a sunny day, the 25-handicapper claimed victory with 36 points, on countback from second-placed Chas Gregg.
Michael Goodman took third place with 35 points, also on countback.
