CANNONS Basketball Club ran out victorious in their latest Suffolk Senior League match, at Colchester Bulls.
The sides met in a second division contest at Monkwick Sports Centre, on Thursday night.
And it was the Clacton-based Cannons who took the spoils courtesy of a hard-earned 70-59 success.
It was their sixth league win of the season and left them in fifth place in a fiercely-competitive division.
The Bulls, Cossacks and Falcons are all one point better off, on 19, while the Leopards have a slim lead at the top with 21.
Cannons’ next league match is an important home fixture against the Cossacks, at Clacton Leisure Centre on Friday, February 16 (starting at 7.40pm).
