YOUNG Liam Harris is proving a force to be reckoned with in division three of the Clacton and District League, producing a fifth unbeaten performance of the season in Nomads Lynx's drawn match with Nomads Caracals.

The 12-year-old star-of-the-future enjoyed fine wins over experienced players Chris Jones and Denise Thompson, the closest being an 11-5, 8-11, 13-11, 7-11, 11-5 victory against Thompson.

Dave Harris and Cameron Cini won one each for the Lynx while, for the Caracals, Jones and Thompson took a pair apiece and combined against Cini and Liam Harris to inflict a first doubles defeat of the season on the Lynx.

Elsewhere, Windsor Kites beat Brotherhood J 6-4, with Carl Hubbard and Chris Simson taking a couple each for the Kites.

Dan Still was undefeated for the losers and Maci Harvey picked up one win, while the unlucky Harley Wood lost in five to both Chris Simson and Mick Simson.

Mark Beckham took three and Paul Metcalf two as Brotherhood G defeated Windsor Penguins, also 6-4.

Debra Found won a couple for the losers.

In division one, Nomads Panthers won 10-0 against Walton B.

John Hatley, Colin Webber and, making a first appearance of the season, Gill Locke were all unbeaten.

Sue Welham was her side's best player as Windsor Eagles chalked up a 10-0 victory over Brotherhood D.

Gary Cattermole struggled before beating Grant Sharpe 11-7 in the decider, as did Phil Smith 11-9 in the decider against Russell Hillier.

It was 8-2 for Brotherhood B against Windsor Kestrels, with Andy Warner unbeaten and John Cleasby and Martin Edwards taking a pair apiece.

Greg Green took his maximum as Windsor Condors beat Windsor Hawks, also 8-2.

Felipe Rodriguez and Martin Hogg both won two, with Andy Vincent picking up the Hawks' consolation points.

Brotherhood C were 9-1 victors over Nomads Lions.

Oli Reynolds and Abi Peshkar took hat-tricks and Alan Burgess two.

In division two, Lawford defeated Brotherhood F 8-2.

Richard Spence and Paul Hewitt recorded trebles, although Spence was taken to five by both Lee Allen and Barry Allen.

It was also 8-2 as Brotherhood I beat Walton E, with Paul Alden winning 14-12 in the fifth against Daniel Young to clinch a hard-fought maximum.

Graham Parkes and Fred Gallone won two each for the winners, as did Young for the losers.

Eleven-year old Ollie Rampton took the honours for Windsor Magpies against Windsor Harriers but his unbeaten three were not enough to prevent his side going down 6-4.

Windsor Buzzards took all three matches which went to five to enjoy an unexpected 6-4 victory over Brotherhood H.

Dan Malinowski and Ray Chillingworth each won two for the Buzzards, as did Frank Burbidge and Woody Fitzpatrick for Brotherhood.

In the first match of the Division Three Handicap Challenge, Nomads Pumas were 6-3 winners against Nomads Leopards.

Alan Dockerill won two, Lionel Goddard one and, with John Bowers, the Pumas won the three doubles.

Roger McNaughton won his two singles and Dave Wright one for the Leopards.
