LITTLE Oakley boss Sean Tynan believes his side have the quality to see off in-form neighbours Harwich and Parkeston.

The Acorns have home advantage for tomorrow's Essex and Suffolk Border League premier division derby at the Memorial Ground (kick-off 3pm).

Tynan's troops are pushing for the title and have a five-point lead at the top of the table, following last weekend's thumping 9-0 victory against Holland FC Reserves.

Now they hope to take another step towards the title by defeating their arch rivals tomorrow.

"We're really looking forward to it," said Tynan.

"It should be a good game between two in-form sides and there will be lots of people there.

"Harwich have nothing to lose, as they can only finish sixth, so it's down to us to go win the game.

"And with the quality we have, I'm sure we will."

Oakley will be without Jamie Dobkin, as the club skipper broke his arm in Oakley's recent match at Alresford Colne Rangers.

"It's a real shame but, touch wood, he's going to be the only one missing," added Tynan.

Oakley showed their championship credentials with a 9-0 success at home to Holland FC Reserves.

Second-placed Gas Recreation, who have a game in hand, did not play on Saturday.

Jordan Heath blasted four goals - including a quickfire hat-trick - and he was joined on the scoresheet by Ben Hammond (two), Stephen Polley, Lewis Wood and substitute Sam Eldridge.

Holland had two players red-carded - Kenny Aldred and Joe Foster.
