Chelmsford Chieftains gained quick revenge over Kent neighbours Invicta Dynamos on Sunday, winning 2-0 at Riverside Ice and Leisure.

Goals from Danny Hammond and Grant Bartlett in the first period were the only goals of the game which saw both netminders in great form.

Home netminder Ben Clements earned a well-deserved man of the match award for his 40-shot shut-out.

Liam Chong made an impressive debut for the Chieftains who now lead the NIHL Table after just three games.

Matt Turner also returned after his in-line skate charity marathon in Berlin on Saturday!

But Chieftains lost 5-3 on the Isle of Wight against the Wightlink Raiders on Saturday in the NIHL Cup. Jake Sylvester, Grant Bartlett and Juraj Huska were on target for the Chieftains on the island.
