PAUL Amoss, of Ind Coope A, had a wonderful 12-dart leg (501) in his team’s 6-3 victory at the Cricket Club, in the Harwich Men’s League.

He also finished the leg with a 170 shot-out and the 12 darts were 30, 180, 121 and 170.

Opponent Ray Lovett still won the game by two legs to one, though.

Coope’s Andy Barton had a 112 shot-out.

Dad Pete Barton scored a 180 and Kevin Edwards had a 120 finish.

Crickets Club’s Martin Heath scored his seventh 180 of the season.

Hanover A, who trail Ind Coope A by seven points, had a narrow win at Ind Coope B.

Hanover’s Alan Mathieson, who scored a 180, secured the fifth game for the victory.

Graham Cole (Ind Coope B) also scored a 180.

Trafalgar, in third, had a 6-3 win at home to United Services Club.

Traf’s Shaun Fox scored a 180 – his sixth of the season – and Gary Fox had a 107 finish. Services’ Richard Mayhew also scored a 180.

Maybush ran out easy winners against neighbours Little Oakley A, winning 7-2.

Oakley’s Kevin Mucklow had a 150 shot-out and Damien Smith 122 for Maybush.

Ciaren Swaine had a 180 and George Lord a 116 finish.

Squirrels lost at home to the Golf Club, 5-4.

Captain Eric Bushell won the last game for the victory.

In the B division, top team Rangers won at the Shakers, 6-3.

Rangers’ Linsey Gueizelar scored a 180, while for Shakers Tony Carroll had a 117 finish.

Ships are just two points behind Rangers, who had a 5-4 home win over the Globe.

For Ships, Jack Newell scored a 180 and Russell Green, for the Globe, had a 126 finish (bull finish).

Flag moved up to third after an 8-1 home win over Shrimpers.

Shrimpers’ only winner, saving the whitewash, was George Jackson.

Cherry Tree had a comfortable win at Oakley B, winning 7-2.

Bob Taylor, for the Cherries, scored a 180.

R/A Club won their fifth game of the season, 5-4 at the Luney Club.

R/A’s Andrew Perry scored a 180.

Malcolm Carter had a 109 finish and Dave Martell a 103 finish.

The last date to enter the single and pairs competitions is this Sunday.

The draws for both will then take place the following night, at the league’s committee meeting, at The Royal (8pm start).

The Knockout Cup will also take place on the night.
