REBECCA Lowman has claimed the Under-19’s County Champion title.
The Year 11 Ormiston Rivers Academy student was competing at BATTS Table Tennis Club in Harlow.
In the final, Lowman beat her opponent in straight sets 11-8, 11-7 and 11-4.
She is now looking forward to the challenge of Nationals which take place in a few months at Wolverhampton.
Head of Physical Education at the Academy, Mike Clay said: “As a school, we are delighted for Rebecca.
“Her success is down to a great mental attitude that exudes in both her school work and her passion towards table tennis.
“She often speaks of her ambitions in the sport and this is a great step in her journey.”
