STANWAY ROVERS pocketed a precious point from a 0-0 draw at Norwich United.
The Norfolk side are the reigning Thurlow Nunn League champions, in addition being the current premier division leaders.
They had won eight of their nine matches – only failing to score on one other occasion – prior to Stanway’s trip to Plantation Park.
However, they found fifth-placed Rovers a tough nut to crack and Angelo Harrop’s in-form side will now switch their attention to Tuesday night’s home match against Felixstowe & Walton.
Meanwhile, Stanway have completed the signing of defender TJ Amass from Heybridge Swifts.
In division one, BRAINTREE TOWN RESERVES lost 3-2 at home to Dereham Town.
