The Warren Seniors won the prestigious Colne Valley Seniors Annual Team Challenge.

Competing at Colne Valley they took the win by 11 points from the host club.

Eight invited clubs contest the trophy with the best six individual scores deciding the winners.

Team captain, Steve Wren, was delighted that from the six scores to count, an average of 34 points per player was achieved.

The Warren hadn’t won the trophy since 2009. Back at the club the WS Coleman Scratch Knockout Trophy was won by Naithan Tucker, who beat Paul Wrench in the final 3&1.

In form Tucker, also won division one of the September monthly stableford on countback from Nick Burt and Dave Ransley, with 39 points.

Division two was won by Rick Shepherd with a superb 42 points.

Stuart Simpson took second place on countback from Sam Edwards with 39 points. The ladies have also been busy and Liz Davidson won the Jill Burgess Memorial Trophy last week with 36 points, with Ann Lisamer taking second place with 35.

The end of season trophies were also decided last week with the Order of Merit being won by Dave Ransley, the Scratch Cup was lifted by Craig Parish and the Thorogood Aggregate Trophy was won by Adrian Piercy.
