Whitnell misses out on Open
FORRESTER Park Golf Club professional Dale Whitnell was unsuccessful in his attempts to make this month’s Open Championship.
The 26-year-old finished tied for 25th place at his final qualifying event at Hillside, having shot rounds of 77 and 72 to end with five-over-par.
