HEYBRIDGE Swifts are to take on Colchester United in a pre-season friendly.
The Scraley Road side will entertain League One U’s on July 11 as manager Cliff Akurang prepares for the new Ryman League division one north season.
Heybridge will also take on a Braintree Town XI under their new manager Danny Cowley on July 20.
Pre-season dates that have been confirmed so far are: July 4 (Saturday): Coggeshall Town (Away) 3pm. July 11 (Saturday): Colchester United (Home) 3pm. July 14 (Tuesday): Grays Athletic (Home) 7.45pm. July 20 (Monday): Braintree Town XI (Home) 7.45pm. July 21 (Tuesday): Chelmsford City (Home) 7.45pm. July 25 (Saturday): Dagenham and Redbridge XI (Home) 3pm.
More fixtures are due to be confirmed at a later date.
A special double header admission price deal will be offered for supporters wishing to attend the Braintree and Chelmsford City home games, more details on this will be released closer to the time.
