CLACTON Golf Club’s winter programme continued with 74 members playing in the men’s Top Dogs competition.
The winners of the seventh round were Graham Currie and Dave Lee, with 39 points.
In second were Cliff Cullen and Mark Hulstrom, with 38, on countback from David Reid and Jim Ross. In fourth were Mark Grover and Liam Inwood, with 37.
Meanwhile, Clacton’s ladies played a strings stableford competition.
The winner was Isobel Ross, with 29 points.
In second was Denise Pink, with 28, and in third was Lorna Forser, with 27.
Clacton’s seniors played their last Top Dogs competition of the winter and the winners were Keith Bates and John Richmond, with 41 points.
They won on countback from second-placed Gilbert Bradfield and Alf Smith.
In third were Ray Fage and Dave Gilbert, with 40.
