The fixtures for next season were released today with the highlight of Essex’s summer most certainly their four-day match against Australia starting on July 1.
The tourists will be using the game as a warm up for the Ashes series so Essex fans are likely to see an array of stars turn out for Michael Clarke’s side.
The Eagles’ competitive season begins with the Championship match against Kent on Sunday, April 19, after a series of friendlies that includes Cardiff MCCU’s first visit to the County Ground.
