FC CLACTON made it five straight wins tonight thanks to a 2-1 victory at Whitton United.

Ally McInnes and Jake Plane scored their goals, both in the first half.

Whitton pulled one back after the break but the Seasiders held firm to pocket three more Thurlow Nunn League points.

Clacton have now won five in a row - four in the premier division and one in the Essex Senior Cup.

Earlier today, striker Terry Rymer confirmed he was leaving the club to join Ryman League side AFC Sudbury.
