THERE’S no place like home for Frinton and Walton Youth Football Club.
And after proudly opening their very first clubhouse, the coastal outfit hope to be leaving a legacy that will serve for the community for decades to come.
The FA Charter Standard Club have gained a 25-year lease on Walton Town’s old clubhouse, on Frinton recreation ground in Rochford Way.
It is the first time in their history that they have had their own permanent base and it was officially opened by Tendring Council leader Mick Page portfolio holder for leisure Mark Platt, on Sunday morning.
“It’s a huge development,” said Frinton and Walton chairman Mick Collins.
