GOLFER Chloe Rose is celebrating a special treble.
The 14-year-old has just been crowned Clacton Golf Club’s ladies’ champion for the third year in a row.
The junior member managed fantastic rounds of 82 and 80 for a winning total of 162.
In the process she reduced her handicap to 9.3.
“I’m very proud to be ladies’ club champion and really looking forward to my summer golfing, especially going to play for Essex girls next month,” said Rose.
“I’d like to dedicate this success to my grandad (gramps) who passed away in February.”
Twenty-eight ladies contested this 36-hole marathon and in second was Denise Pink, with 86 and 85 for 171.
Third spot went to junior Katy Yates, with 93 and 91 for 184.
