Garry Kimble wants the word to spread about the soaring form of his Witham Town team.

Witham raised the bar once again in their Essex Senior League title quest as they put in their most complete performance of the season to hammer Eton Manor 10-1.

The goals took Witham’s goals-for tally to 70 from just 22 league games and in a week that could go a long way to deciding where the league title will go this year, manager Kimble wants to rally the town’s support to cheer his team over the line.

Witham face a home game against Sawbridgeworth Town on Saturday as they look to extend a league run that has seen them go unbeaten in 17, with 13 wins from their last 14 outings.

And the league leaders follow that with a showdown clash against second-placed Southend Manor at Spa Road on Tuesday, knowing that a win could take them a long way to the title this year.

Kimble said: “We are playing attractive stuff and we want to get people through the turnstiles to give us the extra support and to see what we are doing.

“I know that if people come to see us they will like what they see and once they have been once, they will want to come again."
