Braintree Town Reserves will have to wait to try to extend their excellent recent form as their scheduled game at the IronmongeryDirect Stadium has been postponed tonight.
The Young Irons had been due to host AFC Sudbury Rseerves in a Thurlow Nunn League division one encounter tonight, but a waterlogged pitch has prevented any chance of it going ahead.
A lunchtime pitch inspection on Tuesday showed that the game wouldn't be able to go ahead.
It means Braintree Reserves will have to wait until Saturday's home game against Framlingham Town to try to extend a run that has seen them claim 25 points from their last nine matches.
