Goalkeeper Jamie Butler has been released from his contract by Braintree Town.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper had his contract terminated by mutual consent after the arrival of fellow keeper Sam Beasant last week.
Beasant went straight into the Iron's starting line up and kept a clean sheet on his debut at Guiseley last weekend after joining on a permanent deal from Cambridge United.
Butler departs the club after making six appearances in the Vanarama National League this year following his summer arrival from Hemel Hempstead.
