Early birds will get a big bite of Braintree Town’s season ticket worm this year thanks to a generous offer from the Iron.

The club have managed to extend the deal that they have offered for the past two years for free season tickets for all under-18s, but they are also offering big discounts for adult season tickets for the 2016/17 campaign.

Adults aged over 18 can purchase a season pass from as little as £150, which equates to just £6.50 per game over the course of the 46-match Vanarama National League campaign, but it is an offer that will only be available to the first 100 applicants.

The move has come about thanks to sponsorship from both the Community Iron scheme and Braintree Town Youth, which is affiliated to the senior club.

For the first 100 applicants, adult seat season tickets have been reduced from the early bird discounted price of £306 to just £160, which is less than £7 per game.

And ground season tickets have also been cut, to £150 or £6.50 a game.

Concession seat season ticket prices have been halved to £110 – less than £4.80 a game – with ground concession prices at £100 – £4.35 a game.

While under-18s season tickets aren’t restricted on numbers, the adult offer is limited and they will only be available to the first 100 applicants when the club starts taking orders for season passes on Thursday, June 9.

Anyone who would like to reap the benefit of the low prices should e-mail their interest now to priority@braintreetownfc.org.uk Further details about the offer for under-18s are expected to be announced in the coming days.
