Witham Town will be looking to cut out the mistakes that have cost them in recent Ryman League division north games as they go looking for their first win of the campaign against Thamesmead Town at home.

Witham have conceded last-gasp goals against Great Wakering Rovers and Bury Town that has seen two wins transfered into draws.

Boss Garry Kimble said the late goals were down to "individual errors" at Bury on Saturday and wants to see them cut out, however, he admits that it won’t get any easier when they host the division north leaders tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

He said: “Hopefully we can raise our game against a side who are top as we have to start picking up points.

“We haven’t won yet and you don’t want to be cut adrift.

“Winning breeds confidence, but the Great Wakering and Bury games feel like defeats even though we’ve picked up points from them.”

Kimble said he had no injury concerns ahead of the game against Thamesmead.
