The six Braintree Kickboxing Academy fighters who travelled to the latest round of the Peterborough Championship Series returned with a complete medal haul.
All of them came back to Braintree with medals, including an impressive silver for 14-year-old Seb Buckley, who was moved up into the black belt category in his first competition and fought his way into the final.
In the end, it was only international fighter Eddy Paddock who stopped Buckley from taking gold.
One Braintree fighter, James Marsey, did take gold, though, and there were also silver medals for Jordan Gage, Dan Goode and Dale Perrin, while Lewis Kidd took a bronze.
