Wet conditions didn’t affect the scoring for Braintree Golf Club’s Stisted Park Trophy as Derek Voller and Andrew Marsay lifted the trophy with 42 points.
Runners-up on countback were Andrew Murray and Richard Moffat, while countback was also needed to decide third spot, with Bob Scott and George Owers edging out Andrew Wiffin and Ian Davis after both pairings returned 41 points.
The ladies’ Windfall Trophy was won by Amanda Jones with 41 points, despite having her handicap cut a week earlier. She beat Linda Pestell on countback, while Debra Blundell and Susan Twyford both returned 38 points.
