A level-par round of 70 earned Lee Beagrie the Scratch Cup at Braintree Golf Club.
The five-handicapper finished a shot ahead of runner-up Robin Butcher, while fellow two-handicapper Martin Hawes was third with 72.
Beagrie also finished second in the Silver Jubilee Medal.
His nett 65 saw him finish a stroke behind the winner, Dermot Burns, who returned 64 off a handicap of 16.
On a crowded leaderboard, Roger Moss finished third with a nett 66 off 17.
In the latest Order or Merit standings after two events, Sean Kelly leads with 36 points, four clear of Josh Fullalove, with Ashley Tate third on 31.
Braintree seniors continued their fine form with a 6-2 home victory over Purdis Heath.
Janet White won the ladies’ stableford with 37 points, one ahead of Shirley Jiggins with Christine Turner third on 35.
