Braintree Bullets BMX Club increased their East Anglian Summer Regional Series overall lead after the third round in Ipswich.

The cruiser classes got racing underway, with the Bullets nabbing podium places across the classes.

In the younger nine to 12s, Joseph Harris just pipped club-mate Cameron Parrish to the class win, while the mixed ladies saw Isabel Potter take the class win in the 17 to 29s.

Oli Cutmore streaked ahead of the men’s combined class and stole victory with ease, while Cliff Price also stole the show in the 40 to 44 class and in the over-45s, Dave Pattle had his first class win ahead of club-mate Kevin Harris in second.

The Expert classes started with four-year-old Charlie Long finishing fourth in the six-and-unders, while Ollie Cates, who is also four, rode to third in the novices.

The seven years had Freia Challis bar to bar with one of the top boys in the country and taking second place in the final.

Bullets took control of the next two classes, with wins from Eddie Cannons and Adam Gilbert.

Cannons edged club-mate Henry Rowe into second place in the nines, while Josh Cates gave chase in third.

In the tens, Gilbert continued where he left off in the first two rounds of the championships and took another clean sheet of wins, with Cameron Parrish looking comfortable in taking third.

Amelia Parrish was second in the nine to ten girls and that was matched in the 11 to 12 girls by Molly Nice.

The wins kept racking up for the Bullets in the 13 to 14s class.

Matt Goodwins dominated the class A final as he romped home ahead of Hayden Challis.

Sydney Allen took the B final win to maintain his superiority in the overall points after a fall and a mechanical kept him out of the A final.

Christian White kept the ball rolling with a fine first place in the 16s.

The Championship female class saw Kelsey Dixon and Lana Redgewell go head to head all day, with Dixon coming out the victor with consistent race wins.

The Superclass saw a crash, but Oli Cutmore cut through to take second, while Shane Redgewell also made a great comeback and just edged out Julian Allen in the race for third spot.
