Heybridge Swifts fought back to gain a point against visiting Wroxham.

The Scraley Road side battled to a 1-1 Ryman League division one north draw against their ply-off place chasing opposition.

Wroxham took the lead in the first half with a goal from Jamie Forshaw on 33 minutes.

But Cliff Akurang’s side pulled level late on when James Fitchett made it 1-1 on 85 minutes.

Maldon and Tiptree fell to a 3-1 defeat at second-placed Harlow.

The visitors took an early lead when Sos Yao put them 1-0 up on six minutes.

But Harlow equalised when Mason Bloomfield put the ball in the back of his own net ten minutes later.

Jamie Guy then gave the home side the lead from the penalty spot on 32 minutes.

After the break, Harlow went further ahead on 55 minutes when Junior Dadson made it 3-1.

Burnham Ramblers lost 3-0 to visiting Needham Market.

Ian Westlake put the visitors in front on 16 minutes before Sam Newson made it 2-0 on 64 minutes.

The leaders then wrapped the game up on 80 minutes through Regan Pelling.

It was a heavy defeat for Witham Town at Tonbridge Angels in the Ryman premier division.

The home side took the lead on 14 minutes through Marvin Williams.

Just before half-time Tonbridge went 2-0 up thanks to Billy Medlock.

It got worse for Witham in the second half as they went 3-0 down from the penalty spot when Billy Medlock made no mistake with his effort.
