Braintree bobsleigh ace Aleasha Kiddle will be flying the flag for Great Britain this weekend at the FIBT Junior World Championships at Altenberg in Germany.
This winter has seen a rapid rise in the sport for the 22-year-old former Braintree and District Athletic Club star after being talent spotted for the Great Britain bobsleigh team at a selection event last year.
She has been competing as a brakewoman in the two woman bobsleigh at FIBT World Cup events this season, including a tenth-place finish in the seventh round at Igls in Austria last weekend.
Kiddle was partnered to that tenth spot in Austria by driver Mica McNeill, who will also be at Altenberg in the Junior World Championships.
