Braintree Town's reward for beating Gosport Borough in the FA Trophy on Saturday is a third round home tie against Ebbsfleet United at the Miles Smith Stadium.
The Iron secured their own passage into the last 16 with a 2-0 win in Hampshire and will face another Vanarama Conference South side in the next stage.
While they have got the home tie that they wanted, Braintree will know that a quarter-final berth will be far from a formality against a side that are looking to make it into the Conference's top-flight.
Ebbsfleet earned their place by beating another Conference Premier side - Forest Green Rovers - on Saturday and are sitting just outside the South division's play-off places.
Thirs-round ties are scheduled to be played on January 24, with the winners picking up £7,000 from the FA’s prize fund.
The third-round tie will also see Braintree come up against Fleet boss Jamie Day again.
Day orchestrated a 1-0 win for his team against Braintree when manager of Welling United in November before he decided to head to their Kent rivals.
