Wins for the Swan and Cressing maintained the pair’s unbeaten records and saw them sharing top spot in the Braintree Open Darts League’s singles competition.
Playing at home against the Queen’s Head, the Swan recorded a 7-0 win as they only dropped one leg en route to victory.
Cressing found themselves 2-1 down after the opening three games at home to Notley Sports, however, wins for Tony Bamsey, Shane Smith, Matt Franklin and Richard Pryke saw the hosts record a 5-2 victory.
The Retreat are in third place – three points behind the leaders – following their 6-1 win over Bocking and with Legends recording the same winning margin over the Welsh Princess, they occupy fourth place a further three points adrift.
The Swan lead the pairs competition.
