Sam hoping to hand Iron a fitness boost
Braintree Town full-back Sam Habergham isn’t giving up hope of playing a part in this weekend’s FA Cup tie against Lowestoft Town at the Amlin Stadium.
The 20-year-old former Norwich trainee suffered a shoulder dislocation during their 0-0 draw at Hereford United in the Blue Square Bet Premier on Saturday.
However, unlike team-mate Dean Wells, who faces up to six weeks out after a similar injury the previous week, Habergham is hoping for a speedy return to action.
See this week's Braintree and Witham Times for the full version of this story, more injury news from the Iron and all the latest news and exclusive views from the Amlin Stadium
