Kimble not hitting the panic button yet

Garry Kimble’s finger isn’t hovering near the panic button yet, but the Witham Town manager is demanding more from his misfiring players.

Witham head into Saturday’s home Ryman League division one north fixture against Chatham Town – which kicks-off at the earlier time of 2pm at Spa Road due to ongoing floodlight problems – on the back of three defeats.

Kimble said: “Players need to shape up or I’ll be forced into a situation where I have to look for personnel to get the job done.

“We’re not in that position yet.

“There’s no need to press any panic buttons as the players get bad vibes if you start to panic, but we need to get that feelgood factor back."
