Towerlands hosts private driving’s National Championships this weekend.
Throughout the season, competitors have been trying to qualify to get to these prestigious finals.
There are four categories – three of which will be decided at the Gala Evening Performance on Saturday.
These are the Young Drivers, the Exercise Vehicles and the Light Trade, which feature many original working vehicles of the past including milk drays, delivery vans and trolleys.
The fourth and largest category – Private Driving with traditionally styled carriages – will take place throughout the day on Sunday, culminating in the crowning of the supreme Osborne Refrigerators National Champion.
Tickets are available on the day from £10/£15 (discounts for groups/children/OAPs) and there is free car parking.
Doors open at 9am and full ticket and show information can be found at www.britishdrivingsociety
